Because I have to think of the business end of my art I try to learn something new on my Mac computer. It is a necessary evil, and one I wish I knew more about. Learning all the things my computer can do for me is amazing (but so time consuming!), yet necessary to promote my work. This is usually the last thing I do when I am in a funk, it comes before laundry, cleaning the bathroom, and grocery shopping, although I like to cook. Now cooking that is another subject that I love to do but I can't really enjoy it much anymore because I am always trying to be more weight conscious, and I don't know why as I have gained and lost the same 5-6 pounds for over two years now.

Most days I can't wait to get to my studio and begin work. How many people can say that? It is such a gift to be able to create something that other people will enjoy. There are times when I want to create but I can't seem to focus; I just know I have to create something or I will break in two. Those days are the hardest. I'll tell you what I do, different days often require different solutions.

Some days it is just best to leave and go to a good book store, that tends to relax me. I enjoy browsing in good book stores. Sometimes I even find inspiration for something new.
