Roses

This is an interesting piece, as I
was getting out of my car one day and saw a piece of fabric wadded
up on the ground. I picked it up and it was this great fabric swatch
someone had dropped, I knew it just had to be a great vase for
something.
The roses and leaves are made from
paper I painted and tore the stems are hand screened Japanese paper.
On two sides of the canvas I have also placed stems and roses.
