Fence Me In
It has been a long time since I have painted cows and farm images.
Perhaps it has to do with my thinking a lot about my grandparents
who used to farm in Kansas. Once they moved to California and
retired they had beautiful vegetable and flower gardens, as well as
some very healthy chickens. As a child growing up I always loved
visiting with them. My grandmother baked a pie every day and I still
can see and smell them on a cooling rack in her cozy kitchen.
