Waiting for the Cows
to Come Home
SOLD
Over the years my
paintings have developed certain imagery that represents my daily
life. A house symbolizes family and a place to belong, the cows
belong to my childhood along with the chickens that my grandparents
had on their farm.
There are many times
cows have come into my life, my boys used to ride the cows when we
first moved to Pleasanton, California. My daughter on her way back
from getting her first drivers license made a right-hand turn and
continued right into a fence where we were met with cows hanging
over the hood of the car. I should probably add my mother used to
cook a chicken every Sunday.
