Sticks and Stones Will Break My Bones

This is a different pallet for me to be working in and I enjoyed taking a side trip off my usual color schemes. There is a lot of layering in this piece and just a tiny bit of  collage. I really love the mood of the image I do remember that saying from my childhood. I have been brain dead trying to remember some of  those same kinds of things we used to say. Unfortunately all I could come up with was Red, red wet your bed wipe it up with gingerbread. Probably not going very far with that one.

I really did want to do more images along this theme but all that happened was I got into a dead end and lost my muse for about a week. So if you think of any of those great old kid saying send them to me.
