MY SAILOR'S GONE TO SEA
HE WILL COME BACK AND MARRY ME

This piece was inspired by a carving of a little wooden sailor I recently purchased from my friends Donnie and Debby Rogers. There is a lot of texture, including a tiny starfish and shell. The anchor was given to me by a friend after her 90 year old mother had passed away. She had treasure trove of sewing things, and I was the lucky recipient of a great deal of it to use in my collages.
