Rings and Bells

Do you remember the old poem?

Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross
And see an old lady upon a white horse
With rings on her fingers and bells on her toes
She will have music wherever she goes.

This image was really a hoot to make. In my head when I do pieces like this I am making my own little patch work quilts that tell a story.

I have been painting over a lot of my purchased papers to make them more my own, Next I mixed them with a bit of of a yellow ad I saw in a Art and Antique magazine. I spattered paint and squiggled it down the canvas and then said "It's finished, I love it."
