Polka Dot Sky

I love the feel of this piece. It has lots of delicious color, the whole thing just makes me smile. I never know how a piece will turn out. I just get an idea and work intuitively. This time I had not planned a polka dot sky—it just needed to be there, as well as the chicken, the cow, and the bird. The female image has a skirt cut from a vintage hooked rug and that was my first inspiration.
