A JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES
BEGINS WITH A SINGLE STEP

Here is a copy of the new piece I have done called Journey 2. The first one sold so fast I did not get a chance to enjoy it. This second one is bigger 16x12, there are many layers of Japanese tissue that I have been saving. I painted with acrylics spraying, painting, and sometimes scratching into the paper surface, There are definitions from the dictionary regarding Confucius. At the very end I applied small wooden beads for buttons and sharpened the color in places with pastels.

For some reason the word "Passepartout " screamed at me to apply to the brim of the hat, I think that is the name of the actor in the movie "Around The World In 80 Days, it also means the ability to pass or go anywhere.
