I was anxious to get home after our very successful show at the American Craft Council show in Baltimore. I had a sketchbook full of ideas that I had been collecting for a while, it was a good thing to have as I now needed work for the Atlanta show beginning the 18th of this month.

I like this piece a lot, I always think of myself as being on a journey making new discoveries on my paper or canvas. It is always a surprise to see the finished art, as I never know exactly where I am going when I begin a piece. The little sketches I make in my journal are like little seeds , waiting to be planted on paper and nurtured into reality on my paper.
