Harriet and the Freedom Train
This is a little gem, the colors dance
around the paper. I have done several paintings about Harriet Tubman,
she was such a strong, inspiring woman, leading her people through great
danger to a better place. She continues to be an inspiration, and I
never tire of telling her story. In Ohio when we lived there we were
told our 1816 house was on the freedom train. My grandchildren were
always trying to find a tunnel where the slaves hid.
