Christopher MarloweI love this piece it is more contemporary looking than some of my things, and it is a bit edgier and I like that. My husband has decided he doesn't like it. Fortunately, we don't have to agree!
I have tried to duplicate the texture but once again I don't know how it happened it just did. I did a lot of etching into the paint rubbing color in and rubbing it out. I also spraying colored dye into the areas that are green. It is funny how art happens. You just go along painting, scratching marks of different kinds and before you know it these images land where they are supposed to. I think it must be magic because I sure don't understand it.
