One Childhood Is Not Enough

Wouldn't it be nice to have those carefree day's once again?

Creating this image was serious business for me, I spent a lot of time layering with paint and paper, sometimes peeling back the paper for a more textured surface. The young girl was made by cutting her body and head out of a heavier piece of paper that was then applied it to Japanese paper. This was done to give more depth to the piece. After I had adhered the body to the main collage, I used molding paste to give her hair dimension and texture. Stamping, papers, paint, and a odd Lego piece finished the work.
